MAJIF insures members of the Medical and Allied professions. All members of MAJIF are automatically members or (associate members) of MAJ, and their dues are paid by MAJIF.
This fund is owned by the MAJ
and managed by a Board of Trustees through FIRM Insurance Brokers Limited.

Yes. MAJIF can offer coverage for a period not exceeding
3 months within the 12 month policy period to members travelling in the English speaking Caribbean.
MAJIF must be informed and approve the application before coverage will become effective.
Yes. MAJIF employs the services of ACTMAN Limited which provides actuarial advice by a certified and accredited Actuary. The board of management solicits their advice on all investment activity and premium rate calculations to ensure adequate liquidity ratios for the fund.
